Where mother is, home is.
Most children with a mother have a happy childhood worth recalling and remembering.
The happiness of childhood comes from a mother’s smile and her watchful presence at home. Without a mother, you would lose the joy to laugh.
The first thing I did when I got home was to look for my mother, and the first words I shouted were "Niáng lái!" (Mom!).
Seeing my mother’s busy figure and hearing her response, my heart would settle down.
Then I would start looking for something to eat. After a full meal, I would run out to play again.
When I grew up, the first thing I did when stepping through the door was still to look for my mother.
I would search the house for her before even putting down my schoolbag.
Mother would see me and say with a smile, "Silly child, aren’t you tired carrying that bag?"
Perhaps she didn’t know—or maybe she did—that when searching for her, I never felt tired at all.
After starting my own family, during my free time, I would wonder, "Where should I go?" And so I would go home.
This home is a place I can never leave behind.
Pushing open the door, if my mother wasn’t there, my father would greet me, and we would chat.
But my eyes would always stay fixed on the door, longing for my mother’s return. The moment she pushed the door open, my heart would feel at ease again.
No matter when or where, no matter what my status, I always feel the urge to go home and see my mother. Coming home, I still call out for her first.
This habit of going home to find mother has been unconsciously formed over the years. Perhaps for anyone with a mother, it is the same. This is the happiness of life.
Home and mother are deeply engraved in everyone’s heart.
As the years go by, people increasingly realize that even if time changes one’s appearance or the sea turns into farmland, the unchanging longing for home and the deep love for mother remain.
With mother around, you can confidently venture out into the world, plan your dreams with peace of mind. The road ahead is long, and you can’t reach the end in one go. When you’re tired, there will always be a peaceful harbor—that is home, where mother waits for you.
At the top, the cold is piercing. Especially when you achieve career success or become a towering figure, your heart will urgently seek a spiritual refuge. The safest, most lasting, and most reliable refuge is still mother and home.
They say behind every successful man stands a great woman.
If this is true, that woman is first and foremost a mother.
At the moment the World Trade Center collapsed, a billionaire businessman, realizing his impending end, did not think of his wealth. The message he sent via his phone was the most beautiful words in the world: "Mom, I love you!"
The love between a mother and child dimmed the smoke of disaster and burst into dazzling light in that critical moment. The greatness of humanity was frozen in time.
Home will never be far from you! Even if separated by thousands of mountains and rivers, even if crossing oceans (as long as you live), your mother’s figure will always be with you on your journey, and her care will be your reason to travel through time and space to return home.
Perhaps the deepest unshakable emotion in humanity is the profound love of a mother.
The deepest concern in people’s hearts is truly the home that gave them life and raised them.
When mother is here, home is here! Yes—when mother is here, siblings are a family; when mother is gone, siblings are relatives! This is the truth!
